Nurturing the environment comes naturally to MOURI Tech Foundation, and many activities have been conducted in this aspect. Some include the recent Beach cleaning drive on World Environment Day, at Vizag, curbing usage of single-use plastic water bottles in office, adopting ‘sustainable’ standees for publicity purposes, getting Energy Efficient Data Centers installed, monitoring conversion to cost-saving LED lighting and adopting smart building controls to reduce energy consumption. Other measures undertaken include introduction of efficient air-cooling systems to reduce air conditioning demand, close monitoring of the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of all data centers, automated lighting control systems, and the responsible management of waste.
