As crimes against women in India show an upward spike, it has become increasingly important for women of all ages to learn how to protect themselves. In 2018, MOURI Tech Foundation ran a campaign in rural areas of Telangana states for about a week. This included preplanner activities that comprised of videos and real time activities to educate young women on how to stay safe in a rural environment. Our dedicated volunteers spent time with the local schools to provide sexual harassment training for girls and campaigned to teach the importance of hygiene. Through MOURI Tech Foundation, several rural villages are covered for this and the funds were used in providing personal hygiene products and teach girls how to use them properly.
